Hay Hahn sisters,
WOW. Yep that about sums up this week’s episode Jus In Bello written by the lovely and talented Sera Gamble (my fave Supernatural writer next to Kripke himself). We saw Bela again- the theiving con-artist always love to see her- she’s one of those characters you love to hate. Ruby and Henriksen were back too. Ruby had the great line about the breath mint for the guts that splattered into her mouth while she was killing her way in there. Nancy- the virgin (that’s new) had a great line: “When this is over I’m gonna have so much sex… but not with you” classic! It was nice to see Henriksen again and the witty banter he brought out in Dean… again. “You kinky son of a bitch we don’t swing that way” “But you didn’t shoot the deputy” “I owe you the biggest ‘I told you so’ ever” But my fave Dean line had to be: “It’s like they have a contract out on us. Think it’s cause we’re so awesome. I think its cause we’re so awesome.”
Sammy rocked with the reciting Latin off by heart, though I think we’re all going to be able to exorcise many a demon after this show- It’s drilled in there *points to head* It was also nice to Sam step away from being Dean’s shadow and go with Ruby’s plan over Dean’s- even though Dean’s worked. HAHA Go DEAN!! All season we have seen Sam let Dean have his way seeing as he was dying but now Sam is finally standing on his own two feet and not taking Dean’s side- I smell an ugly Winchester confrontation I am a fan of Evil!Sam as many of us are and seeing as there is a new demon leader in the west- Lilith- who wants Sam’s job so to speak it’s kinda nice to see Sam go with the demon over his own brother. Shows a darker side to the younger Winchester, especially after last week’s Mystery Spot. Loved the latin over the loudspeaker and the visual effects of the demon smoke- very cool.
Now on to Lilith- as a christened Catholic (though I am an Atheist) it was nice to see a demon I am familiar with. As a kid I was preached to in scripture about Heaven and Hell, God and the Devil and heard many stories from the bible- I found them very entertaining but as an Atheist very unuseful- so I’m writing a story that incorporates Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden- my fave one- into my own story, and I also have been using Lilith as one of my demons- me and Sera- great minds think alike. I loved the idea of introducing Lilith as a young girl makes her all the more scary- looks sweet and innocent on the outside while she is vile and malicious on the inside. GREAT Can not wait for a Sammy vs. Lilith confrontation- that is going to be one hell of a bloodbath. It was cool to see Dean and Henriksen work together when fighting off the demon hoard and that they had so much in common- who knew. Kripke, that’s who. lol
All in all I think this season has been AWESOME and I look forward to seeing many more episodes in the futrue now that the Writer’s Strike is over.

Hey, ladies! Thanks for the mention on the podcast. I’m a total nerd and got excited about it. Told my mom that after nearly 28 years of “Summer? Do you have a sister named Winter?” jokes, someone said they liked my name! LOL
Can’t wait to hear your review on “Jus In Bello”. I let out a loud “No Way!” by the time the end came about. Too crazy.
Again, I appreciate your enthusiasm for the show. I don’t have any friends or family who watch it, and after a few months of reading people be bitchy toward each other in fan forums/communities, it’s nice to hear from people who just like the show. and laugh a lot. i love it when you two get to laughing at each other.

Wow this was an amazing episode though the ending made me sad. I like that they show us psycho Sam because showing us that made me encouraged that he will never become that…because why would they show us early if they planned to do it later? Not that I was really worried, turning Sam evil would destroy the show. I liked the montage but I must agree with both of you. Kristi has a point that he was like John to a degree, but even John Winchester still had heart and up till the scene with Bobby, Sam didn’t. Then when Bobby died Sam’s face returns to puppy dog Sam, and in a way you can see that even under all the obsession there was still a Sammy. He was so heart broken when he thought he made a mistake and killed the real bobby! awww. I did think it was interesting how the Trickster worked in this episode..he almost seemed to be helping Ruby. I’ve only watched to Jus In Bello so maybe you gals know more than I do, but I do wonder were they working together? Cause killing off Dean made Sam the warrior Ruby seemed to want him to be…but she had to much of a heart to do it herself maybe? I’m not sure.

Well in answer to one of your questions. I think Dean said the “I know, no Asia” line on the second Wednesday because he did remember the previous Tuesday. We know he remember the thing with the trickster and he seemed to know what was going on, so maybe when he said he didn’t remember anything else he meant that he didn’t remember all 100 Tuesdays, just the one. So in total Dean fashion he wanted to mess with Sam by having him wake up to Asia, and was disappointed to not be able to found the song again. Because lets just face it…Mr. Nair in the shampoo would SO do something like that, especially if he didn’t really how messed up Sam was about the whole thing. And second as to why they can’t kill the Trickster, maybe it’s because even the forms he takes are illusions. Like when he stood over his own dead form in the episode Tall Tales. Maybe they can’t kill him because they haven’t killed the source of his power. Like the tree was the source of Vanir’s power in Scarecrow. Just a thought. Fantastic podcast ladies. I was kind of depressed after watching the end of Jus in Bello (I cried!) so I went back and listened to this podcast and you gals made me feel all better. So thanks! Love the show. Question, do you girls have facebook? Just curious -Chris
